Leaftend
Your plant log is yours. Leaftend has no account, no ads and no network access, so the plants you add, the rooms you name, your notes and your care history stay on the phone and nowhere else.
Who publishes Leaftend

The log itself
Leaftend writes to one place: its own private storage on your device. What ends up there is what you typed —
- plant names, species or nicknames, and the room each one lives in;
- the care cycles you set and the avatar you picked;
- every watering, feeding, pruning or repotting you mark done, with its date;
- your own notes about how a plant is doing, and your app settings.
Room names and a timeline of dates describe your home and your habits, which is a good reason for none of it to travel. It doesn't: there is no server on our side to receive it, and no copy exists outside your phone except the Android backup you may keep with Google under your own account.
Permissions
Leaftend asks for none. No notifications are sent, because the app deliberately has no push reminders — what's due is waiting on the home screen when you open it. No camera, no location, no contacts, no files, and no internet connection at any point.
Nothing measured, nothing sold
No analytics, no advertising, no identifiers, no profiling and no third-party SDKs inside the app. We cannot see how many plants you keep, or whether the bonsai got watered.
Google's part in this
Distribution happens through Google Play on Google's own terms. If your device sends usage and diagnostics to Google, anonymous crash statistics may become visible to us on the Play Console; nothing there names a person, and it serves only to fix breakage.
Children
The app is harmless for children to use and collects nothing from anyone, whatever their age. The plants and the plant food are a different matter — see below.
Plants, pets and small hands
Leaftend is a record keeper. It does not identify plants, diagnose problems or tell you whether something is safe. A great many common houseplants are toxic when chewed, and cats and dogs are more at risk than we are; fertiliser, pesticide and repotting mixes are household chemicals and belong out of reach. Never eat a plant, a leaf or a berry because an app has a name next to it. If a child or an animal swallows part of a plant or any plant product, call 112 immediately anywhere in the EU, and take the plant with you if you can.
Writing to us
An email gives us your address and your text, nothing more. We use it to answer you and to improve the app, keeping the thread no longer than a year past our last reply. Our basis is legitimate interest in replying to correspondence, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Exercising your rights
The GDPR gives you access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. The only file we could ever produce for you is an email exchange. Ask, and you will hear back within a month. If you are unsatisfied, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни), 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, Sofia 1592, cpdp.bg, supervises us; residents of other EU countries may approach their own authority instead.
Outside the EU
Nothing leaves the device, so nothing crosses a border.
Starting over
To erase the whole log at once, open the app's entry in Android's settings, go to storage and clear the data; plants, history, notes and settings all go together. Uninstalling removes the same thing.
When this page changes
Only a release that changes how data is handled will change it, and the revision is published, dated, before that release appears on Google Play.
